Litigation Paralegal, L&E Defense

Adams & Martin Group has partnered with a prestigious Century City law firm to find a highly skilled Litigation Paralegal specializing in Labor & Employment Defense. This position is primarily remote; however, the successful candidate must reside in California and be prepared for occasional in-office tasks, such as trial preparation, court-related activities, and team meetings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Format, refine, and prepare legal documents including motions, briefs, pleadings, and appellate filings.
  • Serve as a remote liaison with clients, ensuring clear and timely communication.
  • Draft and file pleadings and other court submissions electronically while maintaining procedural accuracy.
  • Manage case calendars, hearing dates, deadlines, and day-to-day logistical needs.
  • Maintain organized digital case files, discovery indexes, and document management systems.
  • Compile exhibits, evidence, appendices, and motion-related materials.
  • Gather and review case-related information from various internal and external sources.
  • Support trial teams by coordinating communication, tasks, and materials, including occasional in-person assistance if required.
  • Assist with settlements, documentation, and case closure activities.
  • Function efficiently in a remote work environment while remaining accessible for periodic onsite needs in Century City.

  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting while adapting to shifting priorities.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive material appropriately.
  • Flexible, resourceful, and comfortable solving problems in a fast-paced environment.

Education & Experience

  • High school diploma required.
  • Paralegal certificate or associate-level paralegal studies preferred.
  • Prior paralegal experience required.
  • Employment or labor law experience strongly preferred.
  • Must live in California and be able to appear onsite as needed.

Work Hours

Monday to Friday, full-time schedule.
